This arrangement was first performed by the Air Force Chorus at the dedication of the new chapel on Bolling Air Force Base, and as part of the inauguration of President Ford. It became a brass ensemble piece, and then full orchestra parts were added. This is a new version of the orchestra setting with additional parts. High school ensembles can perform the music successfully without need to cover all the available parts. Likewise, church orchestras of various sizes will also sound well by selecting only those parts available for their instrumentation. The included piano accompaniment fills in a lot of spots for smaller groups. A future choral part will be available for school groups wanting to perform a patriotic title.
