This arrangement starts with a short introduction with the full ensemble, then introduces the melody in a duet. Two measures later it becomes a trio and quickly expands to the whole ensemble. There are colorful chords, moving chromatic lines, pyramid chords and some subtle polytonality. The melody is shared between the 1st, 2nd, & 4th trombones at one time or another. This lush, contemporary arrangement is very smooth and brings out the unique beauty of the trombone ensemble.
