This lush arrangement starts with a unison line which gradually expands to five parts. There is a key change with a group of beautiful pyramid chords which introduce and accompany the solo trombone for the second statement of the melody. As the arrangement progresses there is a bass trombone solo and another key change, and a lush ending. This is a piece of music that can be used any time of the year. However it is especially nice for Good Friday and communion services.
