This colorful arrangement starts with a lovely theme in the piano. This theme then becomes a counter melody to the refrain of the hymn. There are beautiful new harmonies and the piece is set in 4/4 time, instead of the traditional 3/4 time, giving it a wonderfully relaxed feeling. This would also make a nice prelude, solo, offertory and communion piece.
