Silent Night

River Song Productions|Solo » Solo Violin

Price:$5.95

"Silent Night" is perhaps the most beloved of all Christmas hymns, "Silent Night" was the first piece of music ever to be broadcast on the radio. It was as an a Capella violin solo. In like fashion, this new arrangement also starts with a solo violin. The solo is quickly joined by the piano with rich harmonies and nice counterpoint. There is a key change and the melody plays again as it comes to a rich and satisfying ending. Although this piece could be used in a variety of ways during the Christmas season, the arranger suggests that it would be especially nice for a Christmas eve candle lighting service.
