Crown Him With Many Crowns
Psalm 150 Publications|Brass » Brass Quartets
Price:$15.00
This arrangement opens with a heraldic fanfare, which leads to an opening statement of the first part of the melody which is accompanied and embellshed by a recurring eighth plus 2 sixteenth note rhythmic pattern, which then dissolves into a lyrical remainder of the first "verse." The opening fanfare reappears as a transition to a new key and an energetic 5/4 "harmonic variation" on the tune. A boldly written statement of the chorus leads to a closing section based upon the 5/4 motif. This piece would be wonderful as a concert opener, a prelude or offertory in worship.
