This arrangement of the Polish lullaby carol features two distinct variations. The first has a lyrical counterpoint to the melody. In the second, bells in ostinato pairs weave a gentle rocking, enhanced with the flicker of angel's wings. The two are bound with a simple pedalpoint: a single bell ringing a repeating contrasted rhythm.
