A fanfare-like introduction gives way to a straight-ahead first verse, which is followed by a more mellow second verse carried by the low brass. The third verse includes a descant-like first trumpet part. The opening fanfare figure then returns to conclude with a power that will make the listeners want to "stand up for Jesus." The flutes offer a light, almost bouncing descant that soars above the brass and adds a magnificant brightness to the overall effect of the arrangement.
