This suite opens with a strong, triumphant prelude that has many fanfare rhythms and sounds. The second movement is a lush, beautiful cantabile, with gorgeous harmonies and melodic lines. The suite closes with a vivacious toccatina, that has fast eighth note figures which continue to the end of the suite. This moderate to advanced work makes a wonderful addition to any recital or concert.
