This well-crafted piece begins with a solo clarinet and is marked by separate entrances by the other players. In the middle section, this piece is transformed into a lovely melodic interpretation which is supported by tastefully written obbligatos being performed by the remaining 2 clarinets. Finally, with the change of key at C, all three parts are interwoven into a beautiful finale. Tastefully written and appropriate to use any time of the year.
