Adoration String Quartets For Christmas (vol. 2)

Washington Music Ministries|String » String Orchestra

Price:$19.95

Three unique settings of famous Christmas titles used for Advent and Christmas services, concerts, and programs. Each is very useful for preludes, offertories, or as service music. "Lo How a Rose" is a faithful transcription of the well known organ arrangement created by J. Brahms. "Break Forth O Beauteous Heavenly Light" is not only a string arrangement, but also includes a color part for orchestra bells or organ chimes, and solo parts for clarinet, French horn, or trombone. You can alternate the solos if you have players available. "O Come, O Come Emmanuel" is a string setting that is more lengthy, with lots of new harmonic colors, and melody in all the parts in different sections. Each of these three titles is unique in itself, and provides a great variety for the string group.
