This string quartet, or quintet from Walters is based on a piano solo arranged by Lenny Seidel that incorporates themes from the J.S. Back "Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring" with the melodic Gospel hymn "Blessed Assurance." This setting is the most popular arrangement in all the piano books by Mr. Seidel, and will probably be used often by any string groups selecting this arrangement for their ministries. Because the piano can stand alone, string groups of 2 to 5 players will sound excellent, and do not require the full complement of parts to sound complete.
