Cathy Moklebust

The original instrumentation for this addition to The Raleigh Ringers Series includes 5-7 octaves of handbells, 4 octaves of handchimes, finger cymbals, a chime/mark Tree, and triangle. All these instruments are combined to produce a melancholy mood through flowing rhythms and colorful textures. After the beginning thirty-second notes (in slow rhythm), ringers may find this one of the more accessible of this series. Note: Recording begins at measure 14.

NEW for 2023! Cathy has scored orchestra parts to further enhance this familiar favorite. The orchestration pack includes: flute 1 & 2; oboe; Bb clarinet 1 & 2; English horn; bassoon; bass clarinet; F horn 1, 2, 3, & 4; Bb trumpet 1 & 2; trombone 1 & 2; tuba; timpani (G, A, C, D); percussion (triangle, chime tree, finger cymbals); harp; violin 1 & 2; viola; cello; contrabass; and director's score.
