In 1984 a new Christmas work called Angels Aware! exploded on the scene and
changed the way choir directors judged children's musicals. Written by Kathie Hill
and Janet McMahan, Angels Aware! was both entertaining and evangelistic,
explaining - from the Heavenly perspective - why God came to earth as a baby.
Songs like "I Trouble" and the classic "The Perfect Ten" detailed our sin problem
while "Come to the Manger" and "Close to Him" provided God's remedy through
